Arthropods of Thailand – Gallery

While loving birds was ingrained from a young age through expeditions with my grandfather, my undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Entomology. And while that was predominately aimed at medical entomology and disease vectors, I nonetheless grew an appreciation for the smaller world around us as well. The following pics are a small snapshot of Thailand’s arthropod fauna (and other non-vertebrates) I’ve encountered over the years. While I try to get accurate identification from various sources, including iNaturalist, I’m sure a number of these IDs are probably not accurate.
