Dear Thai Birding, my wife and I, non-birders, took a day trip yesterday to the peninsula from our home in Phattalung. It’s an interesting place, but it doesn’t surprise my that it’s run down. I think that area got hit by a serious tropical storm a year or so after my last visit.
